Robert Wade Sims

Born September 30, 1988 in Danville, IN, he was the son of James R. and Rhonda Dee (Sibbitt) Sims.

Rob worked at Liberty Industries, Inc. in Fillmore. He also did tree trimming and gutter work. He was handy with all motor and transmission repairs.

He is survived by his parents, Jim & Rhonda Sims; brothers, Brandon (Tiffany) Cox and Cody Sims; his grandfather, Robert Sibbitt; niece, Korbyn Cox and his significant other, April Sult and her daughter, Alivia.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rita Sibbitt, and Frank & Laura Ann Sims.

A Celebration of Rob’s life will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the Fillmore Christian Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

Graveside services for Rob will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at the Fillmore Cemetery. Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home have been entrusted with the arrangements.

Contributions may be made in memory of Rob to the Make-a-Wish-Foundation.
