

Roger was born in Wyandotte, Oklahoma on October 3, 1942, the son of Johnnie and June (Young) Parmley. He attended Oklahoma State University.
Mr. Parmley was a member of Masonic Temple Lodge F&AM #47 Greencastle, the Indianapolis Valley Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine, and the Putnam County Tractor Association. He worked for over 40 years as a Seed Corn Salesman for Asgrow and Monsanto until his retirement. Roger liked to fish and mow his grass, but most of all he loved his grandchildren.
Survivors include his three sons, Dean Tumilty, (wife-Char), Grady Parmley, (wife-Mellisa), and John Parmley, (wife-Jody); four grandchildren, Kyle Parmley, (wife-Bailey), Jaxon, Benton, and Keaton Parmley; two brothers, Randy Parmley, (wife-Joyce), and Rick Parmley, (wife-Beth); and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 52 years, Nata Parmley; and a brother Kenneth Dale Parmley.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2022, in Forest Hill Cemetery with Pastor Mark Miller officiating.
