Ruby Marie Richard

Ruby was born in Clayton on June 22, 1928, the daughter of Verlie and Ethel (Collier) Bryant, and was a graduate of Clayton High School.

Mrs. Richard was a member of Stilesville Christian Church, and a former member of Tri Kappa Sorority. She was a head cook at Stilesville Elementary and was also employed with IBM.

Survivors include her three children, Gary Richard, (Rose), Sandy Rasnake, and Teresa Dillon, (Kevin); four grandchildren, Bruce Richard, (Kristie), Michelle Richard, Bradley Dillon, (Amber), and Katie Dillion; two step-grandchildren, Martha Clodfelter (Aaron), and Greg Buis; seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Eugene Richard; and two sisters, Betty Genaro and Alice Hand.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2026, at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Stilesville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service Monday.
