Samuel Henry Lancaster Jr.

He was born December 5, 1961 in Greencastle, the son of Samuel Henry and Patricia (Buchanan) Lancaster Sr. and was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

Sam worked through the Wabash Center in Lafayette and Comprehensive Services in Greencastle. He enjoyed going to Canada to go fishing. He also enjoyed bowling, having bowled on the Special Olympics team along with being on the Wabash Center team. He loved to go out to eat and go shopping at Wal-mart. In the evenings he enjoyed going on country cruises with his dad in the “Old Red Truck”

He is survived by his parents; a sister, Christine Alspaugh and companion, Gary Orman; niece Kayla (Stephen) Cramer; nephew, Austin (Emily) Alspaugh; and several cousins, and special friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, December 1st at the funeral home.
