He’s survived by his wife, Kimberly Vance Livesay; daughters Sierra Gearhart (Aaron) and Erin (Clay); and grandsons Cooper Alexander and Kashton Joseph. Scott loved being a grandfather and truly cherished time with his grandsons. Little Kashton, just five years old, is already showing the same passion for hard work and hands-on learning that his Papaw was known for.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Paul Livesay and Nancy Jane Rowings Livesay. He also leaves behind his siblings Chris Sharp, Laren Livesay, Jana Lockwood, and Leeann McCall. To his family and friends, Scott was a rock — always there when you needed him.
A proud Harley-Davidson rider, Scott loved the open road, being outside and cowboy coffee talks. He also enjoyed trail riding on his mules, and if he wasn’t out riding, you could usually find him in his shop working on a project or building something by hand.
Scott’s fun-loving nature and knack for making any situation lighter brought plenty of laughter to those around him. He really treasured time with family and friends. Campfires with Scott were always something special.
He leaves behind many family members and friends who will miss him dearly but carry countless memories of the good times they shared.
Services will be held Saturday September 13th, 2025 at Noon at Brick Chapel Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memories may be shared with the family at www.Hopkins-Rector.com.
