Sharon Kay Hutcheson

She was born on May 28, 1937 in Putnam County to Clyde and Ruth Emery Miller.

Sharon married Frank Hutcheson on November 26, 1966 in a small log chapel that sat behind Gobin Memorial Church.

She was a graduate of Reelsville High School and retired from IBM after 35 years when the Greencastle plant closed. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the “Return a Gift” program.

Her parents and a sister, Devona Beaman preceded her in death. Sharon is survived by her husband Frank; niece Pamela Payne and husband Steve, nephew Ray Beaman; two step-daughters, Terri Wicker and husband Larry and Brenda Stohr and husband Jack; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 1:30 P.M. at Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home, with Rev. Paul Bowen officiating. Inurnment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until time of services at the funeral home.
