Syble Lewis

Mrs. Syble A. Lewis age 86 of Bainbridge, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at her residence.

Born December 3, 1924 in Golden, Mississippi, the daughter of Thomas Lloyd & Floy Lee (Keahey) Hale. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Virgil E. VanBibber and Lindsay Lewis.

Syble had been a homemaker and a member of the Somerset Christian Church/Lifespring Church.

Survivors include her children, Ronnie (Terry) VanBibber, Bill (Nancy) VanBibber, and Linda VanBibber; sisters, Julene Hodnett, Rachel Frost, Dorothy Bryant, Mary Bell, and Frances Stewart; brothers, Louis Hale and Marvis Hale; ten grandchildren, Belinda Carrington, AndreaVanBibber, Duane VanBibber, Bradley VanBibber, Brent Reed, Jeff VanBibber, Evan VanBibber, Syble Paris, Ryan VanBibber, and Sara Deal; several great & great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; parents; and a brother, Clinton Hale, and a great grandchild, Jadence Rain VanBibber.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 22, 2011 at the Lifespring Church 5038 N. Hwy 231 Greencastle with the Pastor Scott Volland officiating. Interment will follow at the Brick Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church on Sunday, August 21, 2011 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.
