Born September 21, 1951 in Brazil, she was the daughter of Edwin and Velma Fern (Tyler) Britton. On November 4, 1983, she married her husband of almost 30 years, John R. Cannon III and he survives.
Wanda worked with R.B. Annis Instruments Inc. in Greencastle. She was an avid researcher of genealogy and religion. She had also enjoyed raising chickens at her home.
Survivors include her husband, John, and her sister, Virginia Harris and husband, Joe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Freddie Britton.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with interment to follow at the Calcutta Cemetery in Harmony, IN.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 11th from 11:00 am until time of service.
