

Born November 1, 1930, in Greencastle, the son of Emmett Cleo and Clella Helen (Morlan) Keyt. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School “Class of 1948”.
Bill was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean War, receiving two Purple Hearts during his time of service.
Bill retired from IBM after 34 years of service as a carol press operator and security officer. He was a member of the Clinton Falls Community Church; Moose Lodge; Eagles Lodge; and a lifetime member of the American Legion and V.F.W.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Melvin Keyt; sister Norma Jean Russell; granddaughter Holly Keyt; son-in-law Kim Miller; and daughter-in-law Raejean Keyt.
Bill is survived by his wife Joanna (Boller) Keyt; son Mark Keyt; daughter Sandy Keyt Miller; sister Betty Wallace; grandchildren Heather, Heidi, Kellsey Keyt and Chase and Seve Crabtree; twelve great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at the Clinton Falls Cemetery. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Friends and family have been invited to fellowship and share memories at the Eagles Lodge 207 W. Elizabeth St. Greencastle following the services.
