Born December 22, 1931 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of Walter and Margaret Feld and was a graduate of Greencastle High School “Class of 1949”. She married Gene Frederick in January of 1949 and he preceded her in death in September of 1987.
Winifred had worked at the Angwell Curtain Factory.
Survivors include her daughters, Teresa Lady, Angela Diane Frederick (Companion, Harriett), Stacia (Brian) O’Connell, and Amy (Coleman) McGuffey; a sister, Jean Callahan; three grandchildren, Melissa Green, Paul Michael Stevens, and Vince Frederick; and great granddaughter, Alixandra Green.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, and brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 12, 2014 at the Fillmore Cemetery.
Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
