I was reading the South Hills HS newsletter today & learned of Alan's passing. My deepest sympathy to his entire family. I knew Alan through grade school & high school and had the pleasure of seeing him at our last reunion after many years. One thing we had in common was that we shared the same birthday. I will always think of him on that date.

Alan was like a brother to me. Providing words of encouragement and listening attentively. Truly concerned for the well-being of others, not only his family, but his friends. As we say in Greek "May his memory be eternal".

I am deeply saddened to hear of Alan's passing. He was quite a guy: always up-beat, always giving, always friendly and always there when needed. We worked together for many years in Cleveland at Sohio, Broadway and Warrensville Labs. I recall my first day at work right out of college, Alan took me around the lab, introduced me to everyone, and made me feel right at home. His soft patience was inspiring. Great memories of a great guy. My sympathies to his family.

Sad to hear the news and shocked. I had the pleasure of working with Alan Leff at SOHIO/BP and remember his great smile and the joy he brought to everyone. A fond memory was doing the Horizontal Hundred bike ride in Hancock county (in the 80s) with Alan and his son Aaron (and Don/Dolores Boos). Glad to to see Alan at one of our BP reunions a few years ago too. My sympathy to the family.

My deepest condolences to the Leff family. Alan would speak of you often
when he visited our plant. He was respected and liked by our staff
