

Albert Damascus “A.D.” Williard, 84, a former resident of High Point passed away at his home in Graham on Wednesday December 18, 2019. He was born September 6, 1935 in Guilford County the son of Garnett Guilford and Hycinthe Gordon Williard.
A.D. graduated from Colfax High School Class of 1953 and owned and operated a dairy farm in High Point until moving to Alamance County in 1989 where he continued to own and operate his dairy farm there. He was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church where he was a trustee and a deacon.
A.D. was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Lynne Hope Williard Edwards; a brother, Horace Williard and a sister, Charlotte Maness.
On August 19, 1955 he was married to the former Ola Mae Cash who survives of the home. Also surviving are his son, Albert Carlton Williard and wife Carol of Graham; sister, “Becky” Grubb of High Point; Brother, Irvin Williard of High Point; five grandchildren, Lynette Whitt and husband Adam, Jason Williard and wife Shayna, Garret Edwards, Jessica Edwards, Kaley Edwards; two step-grandchildren, Drew Lloyd, Leigh Riley; six great grandchildren, Chase, Preston, Jake, London, Gabe, Bella; six step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and their families.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Daniel Pittman II. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until time of the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Williard, Adam Whitt, Preston Whitt, Chase Williard, Jake Whitt and Michael Cheek.
At A.D.’s request, the family asks that you please come dressed in casual attire.
