Alex was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Cunningham, and both sets of grandparents.
Alex graduated from Smith High School in 2009. He went to the local Community College to continue his education.
The homecoming memorial was held at Hunter Hills Friends Church on Merritt Drive in Greensboro, North Carolina that was attended by his family and friends.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
