

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 6, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at Trinity Baptist Church in Raleigh. Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., prior to the service, at the church.
Aloma was born to Irvin and Marie Suggs in High Point, NC. Aloma attended Central High School where she met her husband of 40 years, John B. Crenshaw.
Aloma graduated from Davidson County Community College in the first nursing class offered there. She continued her education at UNC-Greensboro and received her BS in Nursing. Aloma continued her nursing career for 30 years before focusing on her true passion, antiques. She was the proprietor of Aloma Crenshaw Antiques at Five Points in Raleigh for 30 years before retiring in 2017.
Aloma was preceded in death by her husband John, her parents and her sister Juanita Foster.
Surviving are her three sons; Greg (Sherri), Tarpon Springs, Florida; Rusty (Belinda) Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Brian (Becky) Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Drew (Brooke), Jake, Liz, Luke, Ben, Dallas, and Julia and great grandchild, Hope.
A special thanks to her wonderful caregivers, especially Joy Banks, who was there to the end; Madeline Hardy, Clarissa Wade, and all the Abbotswood staff.
Aloma never met a stranger and was a friend to many. She will be greatly missed.
