On September 25th, 2018, God chose Tech SGT (retired) Alvin Eugene McAdams to come home. Alvin was a retired soldier for his country, faithful husband, loving father, terrific son, awesome brother and a friend, indeed.
He was a graduate from Page High School. After high school, he went into the Air Force (retired after 20 years). He obtained an Associates Degree while in the service. Alvin was employed by Peak-Ryzek Technologies.
He is survived by wife Kum Sun; daughters Sunny and Angela; mother Mae Benton; sister Alice Perry (Lawrence); brothers Roy McAdams and Michael McAdams (Beronica); nieces, nephew and many cousins.
He was a strong thread that wove his family together. We will truly miss him, but God knows best.
A funeral service will be held at 1 o’clock on Saturday, September 29th, 2018, at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel, 1900 Vanstory Street, Greensboro, NC. A silent hour will be held prior to the service from noon until 1 o’clock. Repass will be at 608 Old Heritage Trail, Greensboro, NC, following the service.
