A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery, 6000 W. Gate City Blvd., in Greensboro.
Andrea was born in Asheville, NC on October 16, 1944 to the late Herman and Leeoma Lynch. She graduated from Lee-Edwards High School and retired from Piedmont Airlines/US Air as a flight attendant. Andy loved her work and everyone she met on her many trips with the airlines. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. Andy had a kind and loving way about her that she shared with everyone she met. All of those who knew her said, “She is so sweet.” In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Penley.
Andy was together with her loving husband, David, for 42 years, who survives her. Also surviving are her daughter, Leila Dixon; her son, Joe Lynch; her grandson, Justin; granddaughter, Sarah; 4 great-grandchildren; her brother, Ed and his wife, Barbara and several nieces and nephews.
