I got to know Andy at Mastercraft.
He was very smart, was a whiz on  the computer and  always ready to help solve the problem at hand.
When I managed the plant at Siler City he was plant industrial engineer. He was a ready contributor to bring data to meetings and was integral in that operation.
After Mastercraft he joined me at the USPS National energy team.
I especially remember the spring fishing trips  we went on and how much everyone liked him.

Paula and family, So sorry for your loss of our smiling gentle kind friend and your life partner. Having grown up with you in church I was so glad for you and Andy when I heard you'd married ❤️.  I couldn't think of a better match for each other. It was a God-pick natural! Know that you're loved and held close to your first love, your Lord Jesus. Im reminded of a Bible verse that our choir teacher, Mrs. Goodknow, shared with me after high school graduation... "Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you." Andy was a loving husband to Paula and proud, loving dad to Gracie and Ben. Andy was always smiling, upbeat and his laugh was contagious. I shared a trip to Boulder, CO with the Southwell family as a honorary member. Andy and I bonded over coffee and our sense of humor. Andy was so creative - he reconstructed my Grandma’s kitchen table for me. I will always smile when I think of Andy. I love Andy, Paula, Gracie and Ben with all my heart. Forever in my heart 💜

Andy - it's hard to believe this news.  You will be missed.  My Postal office buddy on Fridays when everyone else chose that day as remote.  My heart goes out to your wife, daughter & son who you spoke so passionately about with smile and such happiness.
