Andrew Jonathan Wise

Mr. Andrew “Andy” Jonathan Wise, 49, a resident of Greensboro passed away after a brief sudden illness at High Point Regional Hospital on January 3, 2011. Mr. Wise was born July 8, 1961 in Atlanta, GA, a son of William Franklin and Kathleen Skelton Wise. Andy graduated from Guilford College, he did graduate work at the University of Maryland and studied abroad in Germany. He worked in the political arena in Washington, D.C. and for the past 12 years he was associated with J. Butler’s Bar and Grille.

Surviving are his wife, Sharon Frances Dion of the home; his parents, William Franklin and Kathleen Wise of Greensboro; his brother, Phillip Wise and his wife Victoria of Raleigh and nine nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service for Andy will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall at the First Lutheran Church, 3600 W. Friendly Ave., Greensboro, NC 27410 conducted by Pastor Brady Faggart. .

In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to be made to the Guilford County Animal Shelter, 4525 W. Wendover Ave., Greensboro, NC 27409 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
