Angel Manuel Rodriguez, 91, a resident of High Point, NC and a former resident of Miami, FL passed away on Wednesday March 28, 2018 at the Hospice Home of High Point in High Point, NC. He was born November 8, 1926 in Havana, Cuba the son of Manuel and Virginia Gutierrez Rodriguez. Angel was a man of honor and dignity. He generously gave and adored his family. He was loquacious and was known for his poetic words. In his pastime, he painted abstract paintings and loved to play dominoes; where he was extremely competitive. We will always remember him by his loving words, “Te quiero más que ayer and menos que mañana”; which means I love you more than yesterday and less than tomorrow. In other words, his love for us grew and grew every day. We are a product of him and he will always be in our hearts. Abuelo Manolo, we will meet again in heaven where there will be streets of gold; can’t wait!
