Ann Lynn Chambers, “Ann” if you were a friend, “Lynn” if you were family, and “Ann Lynn” if you were her mother, died on November 29, 2024 in Greensboro, NC. A genuine character her whole life; if you knew her, you will not forget her.
Ann Lynn was born November 23, 1963, in Wilson, NC, the third child of Edward and Betty Chambers. She was an outgoing child who enjoyed baton twirling, having a good time, and causing a little trouble. Her interests remained fairly consistent throughout her life.
Lynn earned a degree from Guilford Technical Institute in Customer Service and enjoyed connecting with people. She dabbled in married life a couple of times before deciding it was not for her. From her first union came a special stepson, Levi, who became one of Lynn's greatest loves. Always a kid at heart, she enjoyed being around children, going to the NC State Fair, cooking, arts and crafts, her pet birds, and breaking the rules. Most of all, she loved the beach and was happy to spend hours looking for sharks teeth along the shore.
Ann is remembered by the community at Linden Place for her friendliness, charm, and mischief-making. Lynn is remembered by her family for her fried chicken, her fun-loving nature, her troubled soul and big heart, her boldness, and her strength. She always stood up to the difficulties that she faced in life.
Ann Lynn Chambers is survived by her four siblings, Alan Chambers (Tania), Elizabeth Pittman, Anthony Chambers (Heather), and Elaine Chambers (Todd Miller); nephews Jonathan Pittman, Richard Chambers, James Chambers, Bryce Chambers, and nieces Lauren Chambers, Katie Grace Pittman, and Hazel Chambers.
Lynn, we love you. Your laughter, your resilience, even the memories of your tough patches, as they made you who you are – will remain with us. We wish you peace, as you swim with the sharks forever.
