She was born on June 25, 1938 to Early Guynn and Cora Guynn.
Anna will be remembered by her family and loved ones as a dedicated hard worker who never quit. She took great pride in her home, inside and out and loved going out on the town for dinner. You would never catch Anna not dressed to a T. She suffered a hard loss at a young age of her husband, Paul “Doody” Sapp in 1982. She would spend the next 30+ years with her long-time companion, Marshall Smith until his passing. Anna was a very involved mother and grandmother, never missing birthdays, ball games, graduations or any special occasion with her kids or grandchildren. Anna was famous for calling every family member singing ‘Happy Birthday’ without fail. The kids will always remember her for the hard working, loyal and dedicated skills she instilled in them. Anna spent most of her career in textiles as a sample maker, until her retirement in her early 70s. Anna’s loyal companion, her dog “Sandy” spent 18 wonderful years with her until her recent passing last year. Anna will truly be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters; Phyllis Wilson and husband Don of Jacksonville, NC and Joy Lennartz of St. Joseph, Michigan; grandchildren; Tonya, Lindsay, Andrew, Summer, Chase; great-grandchildren; Nicholas, Haleigh, Raylan, Bryce, brothers; Everette Guynn of High Point and Bobby Guynn and wife, Wanda of Kernersville.
