Antonio D’Egidio, 79, a resident of Greensboro died Friday June 7, 2013 at Moses H. Cone Hospital. Antonio was born October 3, 1933 in Campobasso, Italy, the son of Nicola and AnnaMaria Campanaro D’Egidio. On September 16, 1956, he was married to the former Maria Masucci who preceded him in death on April 29, 2013 after 56 years of marriage.
He is survived by daughter, AnnaMaria Risoli and husband John of High Point, son, Nicholas D’Egidio and wife Amelyn of NM, daughter, Cristinia Capra and husband Vito of Greensboro, daughter, Lucia D’Edigio of Greensboro; grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, Antonio, Maria, Alexia and great grandson, Erak.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday June 13, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 4145 Johnson St., High Point, NC 27265 with Father Vincent Smith, OSFS officiating. Entombment will follow at the Guilford Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
