Arnold was born December 18, 1943, in Rockingham County to the late Ethel and Elwood Moore. He was a member of First Baptist Church, a solider in the United States Air Force and retired from American Airlines (formally Piedmont Airlines). Arnold enjoyed spending time with his children, working on cars, and helping others. He was a loving and devoted father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Arnold W. Moore and his wife Laurie Moore, Marie Benfield and her husband Darrin Benfield, his granddaughter Madeline Lunsford, and friend Yvonne Sylvester.
A visitation for Arnold will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 1900 Vanstory St, Greensboro, North Carolina 27403, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow with military honors at Lakeview Memorial Park.
