Barbara "Bobbie" Conroy Hudson

A celebration of her life will be at 2:00 p.m., on February 27, 2016, at Richardson Auditorium at Well Spring.

A native of New Orleans, LA, Bobbie was the daughter of Lilyon Bowling and George Edward Conroy.

Bobbie was a member of First Presbyterian Church for over 50 years and graduated from Sophie Newcomb College (Tulane University) with a degree in child psychology.

She is survived by her daughter, Robin E. Hudson (Victor Farah) of Raleigh; sons, Thomas Warner Hudson, III, of Yorba Linda, CA, Edward Alliston "Ned" Hudson of NY, NY, and Kenneth David Hudson (Rachel Mann) of Wilmington, NC. ; grandchildren Charles Conroy Hassell (Carolyn) and daughters Doris Hassell and Genevieve Hassell of Raleigh, Emily E. Vavoulis (Andrew) of Minneapolis, MN, Jared M. Hudson (Hannah) and son Eliot Hudson of Cambridge, MA, Meghan Hudson and Martha Hudson of Santa Cruz, CA.

The family expresses its deep gratitude to the dedicated caregivers at Well Spring, for all of their help over the past few years.
