Barbara Roberts DeFosset

Barbara graduated from Page High School, Greensboro; Class of '73. She was employed for over 30 years as a Service Representative for Liberty Mutual Insurance. She loved getting her hands dirty in her gardens, and also sewing and crafting. Her love of children led her to teach Sunday School at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church where she was a member.

She is survived by her husband, Michael DeFosset, her son, Joe Lamb (Sandy) of Mooresville, NC; two stepsons, Ricky Lamb (Peggy) of Georgia; Eric DeFosset and girlfriend Sarah of Belleville, IL; stepdaughter Carrie DeFosset of Belleville, IL; three grandchildren, Riley Lamb and Isabelle and Logan DeFosset; three brothers, Mike, Clay and Bart Roberts; and her lap dog companion, Max.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Lady Queen of Peace Church, 8707 West Main St., Belleville, IL.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions in Barbara’s name be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project.
