Greensboro: Barbara “Jenny” Myers, 44, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 20, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Bennettsville, SC.

Jenny was preceded in death by her father Joseph Elliott Myers.

Jenny graduated from Guilford Technical Community College and attended Guilford College.

Jenny is survived by her mother, Barbara U. Myers of Greensboro; a brother Shel Myers and wife Lindley of Oak Island, NC; her grandmother Edna Locke of Bennettsville, SC and nephews Graham and Clay Myers of Oak Island, NC...

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405 or Westminster Presbyterian 3906 W. Friendly Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27410.

Mrs. Myers:
I just learned of Jenny's passing from my brother Scott and was so saddened. My only hope is that she is in a better place now where she is at peace....

I know first hand from my nephew's death a few years ago that it's sometimes hardest on those left behind. Therefore, my thoughts and prayers are with you. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to call!!

Not sure you remember me but Joe called at me when I worked at Moses Cone and he brought Jenny with him sometimes. Sorry to hear about her death!
