A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at Korean First Presbyterian Church, 318 Old Stage Coach Trail, Greensboro, NC 27409.
Benson was the son of the late Un Sik Yoon and Soon Yi Kim.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Hyun Ban; son, Arthur Yoon; daughters, Erin Song and Harriet Castaneda; and family, friends, and loved ones who will miss him dearly.
Benson was a devoted husband, loving father, and dedicated provider who worked hard throughout his life to care for his family and ensure they were well cared for. He was a dedicated engineer with a curious mind and a lifelong love of learning, especially astronomy, the stars and planets, chemistry, and physics.
He will be remembered for his kindness, honesty, wit, and warm sense of humor. Benson enjoyed making others laugh and brought joy to those around him through his thoughtful nature and gentle spirit. He was a man of faith, integrity, and quiet strength whose love and steady presence made a lasting impact on all who knew him.
