She is survived by her sons Ronnie Gallups and wife Debbie of Fayette, AL, Craig LeGlue and wife Tammy of Asheboro, NC, and Keith LeGlue of Asheboro, NC; granddaughter Laura LeGlue and grandson Avery LeGlue both of Asheboro, NC; sisters Helen Dison of Springville, AL and Patricia Day of Hayden, AL and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father Roy Emerson and mother Bernice Tompkins, sisters Edith Pate, Dorothy Ray, Annie B. Lathem, Lila Philyaw, and brother Grady Lee (Sonny) Emerson, and infant brother Leslie Tompkins.
The family would like to thank the staff of Cross Road Retirement Community, and Community Hospice both of Asheboro, NC for their care of our mother.
Visitation will be held March 21, 2019 from 11 AM until 12 PM at Deerfoot Memorial Funeral Home, 5360 Deerfoot Pkwy, Trussville, AL 35173. Graveside service will be held at 2 PM in Elmwood Cemetery, 600 Martin Luther King Drive, Birmingham, AL, 35211
