Born on April 28, 1958 in New York City, he was an aficionado of the arts as an author and educator. This including the writing of over 12 novels of multiple genres including romance, historical fiction and short stories as well as a commitment to educating and rehabilitating youth with behavioral and mental health disorders. Following in the footsteps of his parents he was a "renaissance" man of sorts with successful ventures in business ownership, education and philanthropy.
He enjoyed traveling, watching sports and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Brown and daughter, Charisse Brown and grandchildren.
A celebration trip and service will be held in his honor in his favorite place to live and vacation, Charleston, SC.
His continued legacy through his writings, teachings and mentorship are evident in his children and further details of their commitment to that legacy will be disclosed in the coming months.
