A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel. A reception will follow the service.
Betty was born in Greensboro, daughter of the late Platte Boyd Moring and Lota Couk Moring. She attended Kenilworth Presbyterian Church in Asheville.
Mrs. Wade was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashby Carolyn Wade and a sister, Martha Mae Lauten. She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Williams; granddaughter, Beau Elizabeth Williams and grandson, Dylan DeVaulle Williams; brother Platte Boyd Moring, Jr.; sisters, Mary Jane Montgomery and husband George, Joan Anderson, and Judy Hudson; brother-in-law, Frank Lauten.
The family would like to thank Allison James for the wonderful care given to Betty.
