Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 16 at Stokesdale Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of Stokesdale Baptist Church. She was retired from Burlington Mills. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting and making crafts. She was a loving wife and mother and was affectionately known as “Meme” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Wilson, Jr., a grandson, Joshua Stout and 7 brothers.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her daughters, Delores Wilson, Brenda Player (Carey), grandchildren; Carey Player, Jr. (Linda), Patty Player Summers (Calvin), Tammy Strickland, sister, Opal Funk, and great-grandchildren, Dustin, Hailey, Connor, Dylan, and Brandon.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Monday at the church.
