

Our Mother, Beverly Brentlinger Fields, 73 of Greensboro, NC transitioned to her heavenly home, September 3, 2026.
Beverly was born in Forsyth County, which later they would move to Greensboro. She graduated from Ragsdale High School, where she met Robert “The Love of Her Life”. In her early years after she married, she became a beautician and learned how to bake and decorate cakes. Cooking was a job for her she did very well.
She was of the Baptist Faith and didn’t mind telling anyone who came along, She Loved her Lord and Savior. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church for many years.
Her love for numbers carried her into accountancy. She worked for over 40 years with Demolition & Asbestos Removal, Inc. and DH Griffin Wrecking Co., Inc. of which she retired February 26.
Beverly is preceded in death by Robert E. Fields (husband), Lloyd A. Brentlinger (father) and Ethel A. Hemmings (mother).
Her surviving family are: (daughters) Cindy, Dawn (Bunken), Elaine (Ricky), (grandchildren) Justin (Tayler), Haylea, Syerra, Cameron, Courtney (Aaron), McKenzie (Ryan), Haileigh (Garrett) and Nicholas, (great grandchildren) Naomi, Kylan, Ava, Zayden, Zebidiah, Niko, Marley and Sabrina, (bonus granddaughter) Dominique (Ty) and Mila, (sister) Jackie Pate, with extended nieces, nephews, a brother n’ law and a sister n’ law.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Guilford Memorial Park, 6000 West Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27407.
