Greer and family, and Bob's brother Bill, sorry to hear of Bob's passing. The first time I saw Bob was right after Greer and he moved to Land's End many years ago. Our company was taking care of the grounds and parked our trucks next to the tennis courts. One day I turned around and saw Bob and had to do a double take. I wondered what Bill Bumgarner, my eighth grade teacher at Moravian Falls Elementary was doing at Land's End. I spoke to "Bill" and found out that he was Bob. He seemed so glad to see someone from Wilkes County and treated me like I was his second best friend. You Greer, was his best friend and he always talked fondly of you. Although I didn't see Bob many times from back then, I still appreciate his friendly and outgoing manner. Bill, I'm praying for comfort for all of you and hope to see you in Wilkes over the holidays.

Greer, I was sorry to hear of Bob's death. Eric died last month from an aggressive brain tumor and I know how tough the fight is. I hope you and your wonderful family have peace from knowing you were there for him through the ordeal and that he will now Rest In Peace.

Greer, We join our neighbors in wrapping our arms around you during this very hard time. The last time we saw Bob was at a neighborhood meeting where he predictably stood and offered his service to help with a project. Your entire family is in our hearts. We will miss Bob.
