A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at South Elm St. Baptist Church in the fellowship hall while we have a “Brunch with Bob”. Please join us as we enjoy all of the favorite foods he loved and share our favorite memories of him.
Bob was an amazing father, brother, grandfather, and friend.
He is survived by his children, Donna Moll and Robert Edmondson; his grandchildren, Brant, Josie, and Tommy Moll, and his siblings; Sheila Blakley, Jean Handy, and Margaret Hardin.
He was a lover of golf, making people laugh, buying lottery tickets, and biscuits and gravy.
The family would like to express our sincere gratitude for the many years of care from Dr. Mohamed and his staff at the Cone Health Cancer Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cone Health Cancer Center, c/o 1200 North Elm Street, Office of Institutional Advancement, Greensboro, NC 27401. Please make any donations in memory of Bobby Edmondson, and in honor of Dr. Mohamed.
Bob and his family would like to thank everyone for their love, support and care throughout his life. We especially would like to thank all of the doctors; Dr. Mohamed and Dr. Moody at Wesley Long Cancer Center, Dr. Osbourne, Wahidi and Seagrove at Duke Medical Center, and all of the amazing nurses and respiratory therapists who never failed to make him smile. Bob hung in there like “a hair in a biscuit,” (his go-to phrase,) and is an inspiration to us all to be kind, always have a sense of humor, and put family first. He will be greatly missed every day.
