

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 10:00 am Clifton Road Baptist Church in Greensboro with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.
Brenda was born in Hendersonville, NC on September 24, 1941 to the late B.T. Nix and Lillian Collins Nix. She was a 1959 graduate of Edneyville High School. Brenda was active all her life in church and taught Sunday school for several years. She was currently a member of Clifton Road Baptist Church. Brenda was a seven year graduate of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) and very active with the American Cancer Society. Brenda was a counselor to many who were diagnosed with breast cancer.
She was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Beatrice Pace and Vivian Helf; brothers, Calvin, Clarence and Weldon Nix. Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Vernon Daniel; son Mark Daniel and wife Jennifer of Oak Ridge and granddaughter Melanie; sisters, Maude Roll, Mabel Barnes, Margaret Jurkiewicz, and Ellen Curtis; brother, Dewey Nix and many loved family members.
Brenda was a devoted wife, loving mother and “granny”, and an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
