Born January 28, 1954, in Kearny, New Jersey, Brian was the son of Robert and Gloria Lucas Wilson. He resided in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Brian was employed by and retired from AT&T after many years of dedicated service. Throughout his life, he carried himself with a steady devotion to God, to his family, and to his country—values that shaped the way he lived and the way he treated others.
Those who knew Brian will remember a man whose kindness and compassion were offered quietly but consistently, and whose humor—often dry, sometimes delightfully sarcastic—could lighten a moment without ever losing its sincerity. His mind remained engaged and curious; he was an avid reader and a devoted history buff, always eager to learn more. He also took great enjoyment in his large watch collection, forever on the lookout for the next find.
In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his brother Mark Wilson.
Surviving is his sister, Susan Wilson of Greensboro; his sister in law, Debbie Wilson; and his nephews, Keith and Jason Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks with gratitude that memorials in Brian’s name be made to Saint Benedict Catholic Church, 109 W. Smith St. Greensboro, NC 27401.
