She lived her life in joy and creativity. She was an artist who painted and sculpted, a passionate gardener and expert seamstress.
She leaves this world survived by the family here who loved her: her son, Lonnie D. Groendes of Greensboro; her daughter, Carolyn Lewis of Greensboro; her two granddaughters, Dawn Lewis Page and her husband, Larry Page of Hilton Head Island, SC; Jodi Hambrick and her fiancé Jim Quintal of Virginia Beach; her four great grandchildren-Jonathan Page and his wife Sarah Margaret Page; Stephen Page and his wife Evan Page; Abigail Page and Jarrett Robinson.
A private Celebration of Life family gathering is planned.
