Born in Peoria, Illinois, on August 24, 1947, to the late Robert and Lucille Siens, Carlyon made her family the center of her life. She was a loving, and devoted wife and mother and her husband and son referred to her as the light of their lives. Carlyon adored the Blue Ridge Mountains, especially Price Park Lake. She enjoyed the holidays and decorating the house for each one. Hunting for new decorations was one of her favorite pastimes. Even though she is gone from our sight, her memory will live forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
As per Carlyon’s request, no formal memorial service will be held.
