Carol King Hunt, 70, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital after an extended illness. She was born on November 9, 1946 in Pulaski, VA, the daughter of Sidney and Ocie Madeline Harless King. She taught school in Forsyth County until her children were born and then became a full time mother. She was an avid reader and cherished time she could spent with her family. She loved spoiling her grandchildren. Carol was a member of Jamestown United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She will be deeply missed.
Carol is survived by her daughters; Kristin A. Hunt of Jamestown, NC and Katie Nadeau and husband Matt of High Point, NC; grandchildren, Sydney Claire and Logan Elizabeth Nadeau; brother, Ronald King and wife Gail of Chesterfield, VA; sisters, Connie Barley and husband Ron of Mineral ,VA, Debbie Maher of Carolina Beach, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, May 2nd, 4:00 pm at Jamestown United Methodist Church with Rev. Jay Bowers officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church Fellowship Hall.
