

A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 23, 2025, in the Lineberry Center at Hanes Lineberry North Elm Chapel, 515 Elm Street in Greensboro, N.C.
Born in Portsmouth, V.A., on April 26, 1945, to the late Howard and Jacqueline Bryant, Carole graduated from Brosville High School in Danville, V.A.
Before her health decline, Carole was an active member at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church. She served her community through various volunteer positions including Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Greensboro Public Schools, and Greensboro Urban Ministry. Carole loved her family, friends, and all the birds and squirrels that visited the backyard she lovingly maintained.
Carole was preceded in death by her sister Joyce Bryant. She is survived by three brothers, Howard Bryant, Jr. of Danville, V.A., Julian Bryant of Semora, N.C., and Kenneth Bryant of Callands, V.A.; daughter, Sharon Marsh Agnello (John) of Raleigh, N.C.; son, Scott Marsh of Greensboro, N.C.; nieces, Wendy Bryant (Ken Motley) and Heather Bryant (Charles White); nephew, Kenneth Bryant, Jr.; three granddaughters, Abigail Walker (Dylan), Bella Agnello, and Olivia Marsh; one great-grandchild, Dallas Walker; as well as three great nephews and two great nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the Dementia Alliance of North Carolina.
The family would like to give special thanks to the wonderful caretakers at Capital Nursing and Rehabilitation and Liberty Hospice, both in Raleigh, N.C.
