I loved Catherine Turner. I began working with her at UNC Greensboro School of Nursing in 1974. She was knowledgeable and shared her wisdom when approached humbly and sincerely. Dr. Hazel Nixon Brown

We are sorry to hear of the loss of Catherine. She co taught a course with me when I was a new faculty member at UNCG. Catherine and Dean Lewis were both very welcoming to me when I arrived at UNCG in 1985. She was a dedicated nursing faculty member and leader.
