Charles Huff

A cryptside service will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Guilford Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Ben Shepherd and Rev. Clay Showalter officiating.

Charles was born in Franklin County, Ohio on February 9, 1921 to the late Charles and Prudy Crego Huff. He owned and operated his own garage and later worked as a machinist at the Greensboro Daily News. He was a lifetime member of Good Sam, and served as the State Director for more than eighteen years. Charles was member of the Gate City Chapter of the Masons. He attended Rehobeth United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Sandy Lee Lewis. Charles is survived by his wife Betty Cumode Huff; daughters, Carol Sue Hankeison and husband Richard, and Patty Lou Showalter and husband Dale all of Greensboro; sisters, Dorothy Lazirko and Jean Huff of Columbus, OH; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
