A celebration of her life will be held at First Lutheran Church on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11 am with Rev. Emily Lemoine officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Interment will be at Westminster Gardens cemetery.
Charlotta was born in Grafton, W. VA to the late David Earl and Carrie Cassel Fawcett. She attended West Virginia Business College and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi. She worked as a Stenographer for B&O Railroad and later retired from Sears as a Division Manager.
Mrs. Selders was a member of First Lutheran Church where she was involved with the Powlas Deal Circle and a member of Eccletic Sunday School class. Mrs. Selders taught the three year old Sunday School class for over thirty years. Charlotta never met a stranger. She lived her faith, which was obvious by the way she loved others. She enjoyed reading and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Gerald C. Selders. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Robert Keith Selders, Gary David Selders and Jane Schlobohm and husband Rich all of Greensboro; grandchildren Carrie (Chris), Amy (Jesse), John (Andrea), Jennifer (Jay), Kevin (Gretchen) and Anna; great grandchildren Brandt, Highland and Landen Conklin, Cooper and Lucy Schlobohm, and Lyra Charlotte Mouton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue Greensboro, NC 27405 in memory of Charlotta Selders.
