Christy Ransaw Adams, 58, passed away on April 19, 2025. She was born on October 30, 1966, in Montgomery, AL. She was a very caring person who enjoyed caring for her family and her patients as a nurse. Christy loved seeing her grandchildren and other children playing as it made her smile. She also enjoyed sunbathing and flowers, especially pink flowers.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Ransaw.
Christy is survived by her son, Nesta Adam and his daughter, Azalea Adams; her daughters, Samara Adams and her children, Nevaeh, Ava, and Syniq Adams and Tamia Adams and her son, Iseal Adams; her sister, Dr. Louise Vickers; uncles, Dr. John Vickers, Dr. Lovell Vickers, Dr. Leroy Vickers, Larry Vickers, Rev. Talmadge Vickers, and Frank Vickers; aunts, Mrs. Mary Ransaw, Mrs. Margaret Ransaw, Dr. Lelia Vickers; Donald Lee Adams; and numerous cousins and other relatives.
A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Piedmont Memorial Gardens, 3663 Piedmont Memorial Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27107.
