Mrs. Daisy M. Williams

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on March 15, 2015 at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel, 1900 Vanstory St. in Greensboro. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.

Born in Johnson County to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Moore, Daisy was of the Christian faith. She retired from Proctor and Gamble as a Quality Controller. Daisy enjoyed gardening, was an excellent cook, an amazing seamstress, and an avid beach lover. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who loved nothing more than spending time with her family. Daisy was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her adoring husband of 63 years, Wadeford C. Williams of the home; daughter, Deborah W. Stokes of Greensboro; granddaughters, Wendy Andrews, husband Brian and Brandy Phillips, husband Kasi, all of Thomasville; and great-grandchildren, Brittney, Sydney, Brianna, and Kaison.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home from 12:30 until 1:30 pm on Sunday.
