Dana Darby Banker

A native of Roanoke, VA, she was a graduate of Cave Spring High School and Virginia Tech. She was a beloved member of UNCG’s Financial Aid Department.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Brad Banker; her loving fur babies, Tank, Bear, Isla, Squee and Cheeto; her mother and stepfather, Margaret and Bobby Taylor; her sister and brother in-law, Renee and David Mitchell, father and mother in-law, Dr. Tim and Mary Banker and brother and sister in-law Kevin and Adrienne Banker. She is preceded in death by her father, Brad Darby and nephew, Jake Aldridge.

Her loss is felt by countless family and friends. She will be remembered for her beautiful laugh and smile, her razor sharp wit and sense of humor, her love of animals, wine, joy and friends. She is undoubtedly across the rainbow bridge with her beloved fur babies from days past. She brightened and changed all of the lives that she touched and truly made the world a better place.
