Born in Randolph County, Daniel graduated from Randleman High School in 2002. He went on to build a career doing work he truly enjoyed, spending the last 18 years at Kelly's Golf in Greensboro. As an assistant specializing in golf club building and customization, Daniel took great pride in his craft and was known for his dedication, knowledge, and willingness to help others.
On March 4, 2006, Daniel and Holly's journey together began. Over the next twenty years, they built a life rooted in friendship, laughter, unconditional love, and a partnership that carried them through every season of life. They were married on April 18, 2009, and created a home filled with music, beloved pets, shared adventures, and countless memories. Whether they were traveling, cheering on their favorite teams, watching wrestling, attending concerts, or simply enjoying a quiet evening together, they found joy in one another's company. Through life's celebrations and challenges, Daniel was Holly's safe place, her biggest cheerleader, and her partner in everything. The life they shared was built on love, trust, and friendship, and that bond only grew stronger with each passing year.
While they never had children of their own, anyone who knew Daniel knew his heart was far too big to limit family to blood alone. Together, Daniel and Holly became a second set of parents to several young adults who found in them a safe place, a listening ear, unconditional love, and a home away from home. They were also blessed to be Aunt Holly and Uncle Daniel, as well as godparents to many children they adored. Daniel loved watching "his kids" grow up, celebrating their accomplishments, teasing them whenever the opportunity arose, and reminding them they always had someone in their corner. One of his greatest gifts was making people feel like family, and the family he helped build reaches far beyond those who shared his last name.
Known by many as a "Gentle Giant," Daniel never met a stranger. He had a remarkable gift for making people feel welcome and valued. Whether through a kind word, a helping hand, or a simple conversation, he formed connections wherever he went. His warmth, generosity, and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Daniel's love for professional wrestling began in childhood and remained one of the constants throughout his life. Some of his favorite memories were tied to wrestling, from watching matches and attending live events to sharing his excitement with family and friends. He never outgrew the joy it brought him, and anyone who knew him well could quickly find themselves in a lively conversation about a favorite wrestler, memorable match, or unforgettable moment in wrestling history.
Music was one of the greatest joys of Daniel's life. It filled his days, marked special moments, and brought comfort, happiness, and connection wherever he was. Whether he was listening to favorite songs, sharing music with those he loved, or discovering something new, music was always close to his heart. For those who knew him best, music was more than something he enjoyed. It was part of who he was.
A passionate sports fan, Daniel could almost always be found watching the Atlanta Braves, Carolina Hurricanes, Tar Heels, or Carolina Panthers. He reveled in their successes, weathered their losses, and supported his teams with steadfast dedication.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Holly Brewer, of the home; his cherished furbabies, Brody, Bailey, and Harley; his mother, Rhonda Fields; sisters, Megan Martin (William) and Jessica Parise; and brothers, Rob Fields (Lauren) and Travis Brewer. He also leaves behind a large circle of family, friends, coworkers, godchildren, and chosen family who became such an important part of his life. Whether related by blood, marriage, friendship, or simply by love, Daniel had a way of making people feel like family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Wayne Brewer; his stepfather, Roy Fields; his beloved grandmother, Irene Mizell; his uncle, James Brewer; and his cherished furbabies, Hazel and Maggie.
Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, Daniel's legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched through his kindness, compassion, humor, and unwavering love. He will be remembered not only for the things he loved, but for the way he made others feel: welcomed, accepted, valued, and loved. The world is a little less bright without him, but his spirit will continue to live on in every story shared, every song played, every wrestling match watched, and every person fortunate enough to have called him family or friend.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Worthville Community Center, 908 Bowers Lane/Worthville Road, Randleman, North Carolina 27317. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Daniel, to share stories, laughter, and memories, and to celebrate the life of a man whose kindness and friendship touched so many.
