Sending prayers to your family. I am truly going to miss Dan. Dan and Paul was always two (2) peas in a pod. They were always together, my last event volunteering with Dan and Paul was at UNCG soccer tournament. I am truly going to miss him, his smile, he was a good friend and always made you feel welcome.

To Dan's wife and family, I have sorrow in my Heart for your lost and for everybody who knew him. THIS man who has been my friend the entire time we worked together volunteering for everything from the Wyndham championship to the A.C.C Hall Of Champions. One story I would like to share about Dan is how he talked to my son. We worked the hall with Dan, Paul, and myself. Dan would give Will T. advice about going away from home to college in MD and he was sincere in helping a boy grow into man and I love him for that.
He is better now that he is a angel.
All My Love

I first met Dan at the 2011 Figure Skating Championships. Then, we shared many volunteer opportunities over the years. More recently we worked together at the early voting location at Jamestown Town Hall. Dan was missed at our last election and many prayers went up from our group.

Dan was always a great person to be around. He will be certainly be missed!

Dan was like another father to me growing up in Raymond NH. He would put together my toys for me for my mom and make sure everything was perfect. Dan and Adele are a big part of my life and who I am today, always supported me and my children. I had the pleasure of vacationing in NC with them and was shown all around. Love to you.

My husband, Jim, and I are heartbroken over the loss of our dear friend Dan Filip.
He was a person who knew what real friendship means. We always knew that Dan and Adele were the kind of people we could count on. We have so many rich memories of time spent with Dan. There is comfort knowing he is at rest now and no longer in pain. Adele will need our love and support now which we will give along with all of her Sedgefield friends and neighbors.
