Mr. Danny Ryan

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 14, 2012 at Gospel Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. Ryan was an active member of Awestruck Church. He was a former truck driver for Xpedx with 26 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. Danny enjoyed life and spent his time cycling with his team, InMotion with GTCC, working out, fishing and competing in marathons and triathlons.

Danny is survived by his daughter, Lindsey Ryan, father, Gerald Ryan and wife, Peggy, mother, Jane Thomas and husband, John, sister, Tammy Brown (Brian) all of Greensboro, brothers, David Ryan (Wanda) of Reidsville, Phillip Ryan (Salley) of Climax and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday at Gospel Baptist Church, 5945 N. Church St., Greensboro, NC 27455.
