Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel, 6000 W. Gate City Blvd., in Greensboro. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the funeral service.
He graduated from Eastern Guilford High School in 1988. David earned his HVAC license and was owner/operator of Air Consultants, LLC. He enjoyed riding side-by-sides in WV, drag racing his mustang, tinkering with classic cars, entering car shows, fishing, riding his Harley motorcycles, hanging out with friends and family and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys. David was also a member of the Greensboro Moose Lodge #685. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Earl Arnold; his maternal grandmother, Millicent Marley; maternal grandfather, Charles Brady; and his uncle, Mike Brady.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Bonnie Baker Arnold; daughter, Hanna Arnold; step-children, Joshua and Ashlyn Welch; his mother, Ann Arnold; his father, David E. Arnold (Janet); sister, Angela Steele (Daniel); niece, Savannah Steel; his paternal grandmother, Violet Bass “Maw Maw” and a host of other family and friends that loved his very much.
